    YES Foundation together calls for participants for the webinar “Social Entrepreneurship”. The webinar will be based on a case study where the participants will have the opportunity to discuss and exchange opinions related to the presented case study.

    MODERATOR
    Professor Radmil Polenakovikj, PhD – full time professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Skopje, subjects: Entrepreneurship and small business, Innovation mamnagement, Human resource management, Logistics, etc. He is author and co-author of more than 300 papers, and has participated in the implementation of more than 100 international and domestic projects of various programs. Professor Polenakovikj participated in the development of several strategic documents in the field of entrepreneurial learning, cluster work, innovation, etc. He is the founder and head of the first University Business Start-up Center in the country in 2006. He also established the National Business plan competition for high schools and students, which has led to establishing of more than 60 start-up companies. In 2009 Professor Polenakovikj founded the National Center for Development of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Learning. He is visiting professor of the UNESCO Department of Entrepreneurship at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.

  • On 15 and 16 October at the Science Technology Park Belgrade, the European Commission's Joint Research Centre is organising a conference to present the Serbia's Smart Specialisation Strategy (4S) together with the opportunities and challenges for sectoral specialisation of Science and Technology Parks (STPs), Accelerators and Incubators in the broader region of South-East Europe.

    The two-day event is co-organised together with EU4TECH Western Balkans, a project funded by DG NEAR, and the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. The first day will be focus on Smart Speciliasation Strategy in Serbia and its priority domains such as Information and Communicaiton Technlogies, creative industries and food for the future. On the second day, participants will discuss the role of Science Parks and incubators in the Western Balkans and South-East Europe regions can play in supporting emerging Smart Specialisation priorities. 

    Sofija Cali Kuzmanova, project manager at YES Foundation and Business Incubator is visiting the conference as a representative of one of the oldest business incubator in the country and active stakeholder for support of SMEs and entrepreneurship.

  • 45 companies with clearly defined rules for protection of security and health of their consumers will be awarded with a certificate “Fair for the Consumer” on a ceremony to be held in the hotel “Aleksandar Palace” in Skopje. The event is organized within the project “Partnership among civil society and business sector – development of innovative model for mobilization of financial resources” implemented from Organization of Consumers, KiA Creation and Zenith Association.

    During the event, two panel discussions including CSOs and representatives from companies and institutions will take place. 

    “Fair for the Consumer” certificate means that companies are taking care of their products/services, have fair practices towards consumers and their products are not harmful for the environment.

  • European movement invites all interested parts to join the Second Plenary conference of the National Convention for EU in Republic of North Macedonia.

    On the event will be presented the results of the two yearlong work of NCEU-MK as an open platform for professional dialog regarding the Euro integrational processes of the country and relevant stakeholders (representatives from the civil sector, institutions, academicians etc.) will present their views on the current situations in the related areas.

     NCEU-MK acts in 4 chapters from the Pre-accession negotiations: Chapter 11 (Agriculture and rural development), Chapter 19 (Social policies and employment), Chapter 23 (Judiciary and fundamental rights) and Chapter 24 (Justice, Freedom and Security). 

    After the working part of the plenary conference, Working group 3 (Judiciary and fundamental rights) will organize their fifth session. Available AGENDA here!

  • Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation, within the project “Strengthening capacities and mechanisms for supporting Chapter 20
     reform processes”, is organizing an International Forum: “EU integration and the reform process of Chapter 20: Enterprise 
    and industrial policy”, from 18-19th of April 2019, in Hotel Arka, Skopje.
    
    The first International Forum on Chapter 20 reform process aims to enable networking and exchange of good practices 
    in the field. Apart from providing opportunities for networking beyond national borders, the forum will be an excellent opportunity for 
    promoting the work undertaken by the first national Chapter 20 Platform and to promote regional cooperation for creating 
    improved industrial policies and policy for enterprises.
    The forum will include panel discussions as well as B2B meetings for networking among the regional CSOs and institutions, to enable 
    knowledge transfer and exchange of good practices. The forum will gather more than 70 participants, experts in the field of 
    Chapter 20, representatives from relevant institutions, chambers, business incubators, technology parks,
    universities and companies.
