  • Development opportunities, perspectives and conditions in the machinery and metal sector How to encourage these sectors through active industrial policies.

    The aim of the discussion is to present the results of the research conducted within the project: "Identifying the development opportunities for structural changes and export diversification through active industrial policies - case study: the machine and metal processing sector" and to open discussion on the future directions in the development of these industries as the basis for the creators of economic policies.

    The project was implemented within the project: "Strengthening the capacities and mechanisms for supporting the reform process of Chapter 20" financed by the European Union through the IPA Program for Civil Society and Media Support 2015, implemented by the Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation ( Coordinator), Foundation for Management and Industrial Research and Rural Development Association Javor.

    We invite you to participate in the expert discussion and contribute to the creation of proposed sectoral policies in order to encourage the further development of the machine and metal processing sector in the Republic of Macedonia. The expert discussion will be held on June 20, 2018 (Wednesday) at 13:00, in the new building at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Skopje, UKIM, hall K3-9 on the third floor.   • Training: Industrial policy based on evidence
     
    The Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation invites all interested CSO representatives working in the field of Chapter 20 to participate in the training on the topic "Industrial policy based on evidence", which will be held on 23rd May 2018 (Wednesday), from 09.00 - 17.00, at the premises of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia (floor 5, hall No.4) in Skopje.
     
    The training will be led by Dr. Jasmina Maistoroska, an expert in industrial policy development and implementation, employed as an advisor in the industrial policy sector at the Ministry of Economy and Dr. Paskal Zhelev, an industrial policy expert, a professor at the Faculty of Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
    Part of the training will be held in Macedonian and part of the English language, for which translation will be provided.

    This is the last training from the envisaged series of 6 one-day trainings that are realized within the program for strengthening the capacities of the civil society organizations, within the newly established platform "Chapter 20",  composed by 47 civil society organizations and institutions active in the area of ​​Chapter 20.
     
    The activities implemented are part of the project "Strengthening the capacities and mechanisms for supporting the reform process of Chapter 20 (YESNetwork +)" funded by the European Union through the IPA Program for Civil Society and Media Support 2015.
     
    The project aims  to strengthen the capacity of CSOs in creating policies, networking and monitoring of policies of Chapter 20.

  • Training: Circular Economy - Policies and Practices
     
    The Youth Entrepreneurial Service Foundation invites all the interested CSO representatives working in the field of Chapter 20 to participate in the training on topic "Circular Economy - Policies and Practices", which will be held on 18 May 2018 (Friday), from 9 am to 5 pm, at the premises of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia (floor 5, Hall 4) in Skopje.
     
    What is a circular economy?
    Circular economy is a new economic model that focuses on designing and producing competitive reuse, recycling and recycled materials. The circular economy is alternative to the traditional linear economy (create, use, remove) in which resources are used as long as possible and, and then are created new products and materials.
     
    The training will be led by Dr. Valentina Gechevska, university professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Skopje, founder and head of the Center for Product Management and Product Development Management, member of the management board of the international network for PLM. She has experience in implementing the concept of circular economy in many international projects and industries.
